Soap Use & Care:  Our soap bars are gentle and safe for both your face and body! Just wet the bar with warm water, lather for a few seconds, and apply the foam where needed for a refreshing cleanse. We recommend doing a patch test to ensure compatibility with your skin. Unopened, our soap bars stay fresh for 8-12 months when kept in their original packaging. To extend their shelf life after opening, store your soap bars in a cool, dry spot with proper drainage.

Full ingredients: coconut oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, fragrance and mica.

Cold process soap is made through a chemical reaction called saponification, in which sodium hydroxide (lye) combines with oils and fats to create soap and glycerin. During this process, the sodium hydroxide is fully consumed, meaning there is no lye remaining in a properly formulated and cured finished bar of soap. Sometimes a harmless white, powdery coating called soda ash may form on the surface of cold process soap when unsaponified lye reacts with carbon dioxide in the air. Soda ash is completely cosmetic, does not affect the safety or performance of the soap, and can be washed or steamed off if desired.
